BRISBANE WELCOMES WORLD LEADERS IN NURSING AND DIGITAL HEALTH FOR THE UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON NURSING THIS 2020
Brisbane will host the 15th International Congress on Nursing Informatics this 2020. The event is ready to welcome nurses, researchers, and innovators from the medical field who are working to transform healthcare globally.
Upcoming event will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC).
The congress will be set in conjunction with Australia’s Annual Health Informatics Conference (HIC) with the two events expected to attract some 1500 delegates.
BCEC and major convention partners, Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane Marketing, in cooperation with the Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA), Australia’s top professional group for the digital health community, to secure the event for Brisbane.
“Leaders from across the country and around the world in this medical field will travel to Brisbane to learn from the best in the industry,” Tourism Industry Development Minister Kate Jones in a report said.
HISA chief executive Dr. Louise Schaper said the Congress will demonstrate Australia’s nursing informatics practice and research to the world as well as bringing best global practice and thinking to Australia.
“We hope the Congress will help to empower nurses with knowledge and leadership skills to take their rightful place in the digital transformation of our health system,” she said.
